Join Mayor Lenny Curry as the City of Jacksonville kicks off the holiday season in #DTJax with a special tree lighting ceremony. Throughout the night, enjoy live music by Evan Michael and the Well Wishers on the Hemming Park main stage, a holiday beer village and shop local by browsing handmade arts and crafts that make great holiday gifts throughout #DTJax.
The featured charity for Art Walk will be Toys for Tots. Toys for Tots aims to collect new, unwrapped toys distribute them as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in Jacksonville. From 6-9 p.m., browse local artwork, “Fall Expressions” by Bronwen Chandler on the 2nd floor gallery, “For the Love of Nature” by Anthony Whiting on the 3rd floor gallery and enjoy open mic hosted by A.H.Y.N.T.E. in the lounge. Plus, Southlight Gallery artists will showcase local art in the Main Library lobby throughout the night.

Each month, Art Walk headquarters at Hemming Park hosts dozens of artists, seeking to show and sell their works. From jewelry to paintings and more, you’ll find a mix of unique, handmade items from both emerging and established artists.
With bus and Skyway services along with several taxi options and more than 40,000 parking spaces, getting around Downtown is nothing to worry about.
